Small Mines Roadshow - Liverpool

We are holding our annual health and safety roadshow for small mines and quarries across NSW during February, March and April 2022.

This event provides valuable information and resources to the small mines' sector that will assist you to maintain safe mining practices and also provide an opportunity for face-to-face engagement with the Regulator.

Topics will include:

  • Quarry Manager and practising certificate update​
  • legislation update and exemptions ​
  • quarry management – statutory functions in the management structure​
  • supervisors – the forgotten members of the management structure  ​
  • toolbox talks and pre-shift meetings ​
  • dust management​
  • vehicle interaction blitz and blasting exclusion zone results​
  • communicating to the Regulator through the Regulator Portal​
  • change management ​
  • training and competence
  • a number of 'quick topics' of current relevance
  • industry report card for 2021.​

Morning tea and lunch will be provided (special dietary requirements are not catered for on this occasion).
