We will be holding our inaugural Mining Engineering Managers Safety Seminar on 3 and 4 December 2019 at Sofitel Darling Harbour, Sydney. This unmissable event will be specifically for Mine Managers, Technical Service Managers and Mining Engineers of underground and open cut collieries, open pits, underground metal mines and large quarries.
Stepping safely into the future focuses on the challenges and solutions facing mine managers in implementing change management and adopting new technology.
The early adoption of remote operating centres, integrated planning, autonomous mining, battery electric vehicles and even artificial intelligence is starting to be implemented in mines throughout New South Wales.
Adoption and implementation of new mining technology promises to offer increased production and efficiency but also presents new challenges and often unforeseen downstream changes.
This seminar will bring together case studies from Mining Engineering Managers who are implementing new technology and the lessons learnt on their journey to date.
For more details see the full agenda.
Individual attendees may be able to claim the content of this seminar to meet their maintenance of competency for their practising certificates.
