Quarry manager notification

The Quarry Manager Instrument of Exemption 2015, 30 June 2015, published on this website under clause 185 of the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2014 and requires a mine operator to notify a government official of certain information to demonstrate that their nominee is a competent person has been cancelled and removed from this website.

The Quarry Manager exemption is now included in section 180 of the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022. A savings and transitional provision is included under section 180(4) of the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022.

The Recognised Service Facilities Instrument of Exemption 2015, 20 July 2015, published on this website under clause 185 of the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2014 has been cancelled and removed from this website.

The Recognised Service Facilities exemption is no longer required and was therefore not included in the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022. Access the Regulation here: https://legislation.nsw.gov.au/view/html/inforce/current/sl-2022-0509#sec.180
