Bullying notification

Bullying in the workplace is 'repeated, unreasonable behaviour directed towards a worker or group of workers that creates a risk to health and safety', according to Safe Work Australia.

If you have been bullied, it is important to respond quickly. However, depending on your issue, the NSW Resources Regulator’s mine safety unit may not be the right agency or the only agency to contact.

We encourage you to notify us only if your case meets the following:

  • you work in a mining workplace
  • what happened to you meets the definition of bullying and
  • you have either
    • reported it to your workplace and there has been no action, or you believe that the action taken was inappropriate, or
    • you are unable to report it in your workplace because there is no procedure or you are concerned for your health and safety.

To notify us, please complete our Bullying in the workplace complaint form (DOCX, 98.02 KB).
