Resources Regulator Christmas operating hours

The Regulator will operate at a reduced capacity over the Christmas and New Year period to Monday 9 January 2023.

Inspectors will always be available for notification of incidents, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Central Assessment Unit will operate during business hours only and will be closed for public holidays and on Wednesday 28 December 2022.

The Central Assessment unit can be contacted at cau@regional.nsw.gov.au or on 1300 814 609, option 1 to report an incident and option 2, then 4, for general enquiries.

Our Mining Competencies and Authorisations Unit will cease processing matters from Friday 23 December 2022 to Friday 6 January 2023, in line with the NSW Government shutdown of areas not involved in frontline service delivery.
